CNC Internal Grinding Machine (Bore & Track)

Rekha Engineering Works offers a CNC Internal Grinding Machine, Model REW RIG-250/RIG350, suitable for precision bore grinding of small and medium work pieces. These grinders can be used to manufacture single piece as well as for batch and mass production. The machines are designed to meet contemporary needs of the Indian industries by using state-of-the-art CNC technology available in two main configurations. Single spindle machine is available with internal and face grinding combination. The machine does multiple operations like ID and face grinding in single checking resulting in very close geometrical accuracies like concentricity, parallelism of faces, perpendicularity, etc. The machine has a rigid live work head with MT-5 taper. It has cartridge type spindle with high precision anti-friction bearings lubricated with grease/oil. Effective sealing arrangement prevents any coolant and grinding dust entry, thus enhancing the life of the bearings. The spindle is driven by an AC motor with variable drives. Internal wheel head (Z-axis slide): wheel head slide moves with the end-flat Turcite guide ways, which provide rigid and a longer life. Internal spindle is housed in a rigid base which can take to 100 mm dia. Belt driven or optionally can provide with frequency spindle. Grinding head is mounted securely on Z-axis slide. Fixed dresser unit is mounted on the work slide at a position, which ensures minimum ideal movement during dressing cycle. Radius can be provided optionally. In feed and traverse slide (X and Z axis): the slides have been specially designed in rigid construction for hither load carrying capacity and to provide very fine accuracies consistently for long period. Guide ways are protected against entry of coolant vapors/splash by creating pressured chamber through oil air system and using fixed guards. It is driven by an AC servo motor through a pre-loaded recirculating type ball screw. A high precision rotary encoder is used for position feed back to CNC systems. The indeed axis can also be provided with high precision glass/metal scale for feed back as option.
