CNC High Volume Production Cylindrical Grinder

Supromat uses a Windows based man machine interface offering simple to use set-up routines for grinding and wheel dressing operations. The system chosen is a GE Fanuc 180 TB CNC, incorporating a PC front end, with graphical user interface, colour graphic programming screens and spreadsheet style programming. This compact machine can be configured with a straight or angled wheelhead. The thermal stability of machine elements and solid construction on a cast iron bed provide a high geometric accuracy of components. The work area envelope measures 1,000 mm between centres with a 600 mm grinding length, 160 mm centre height and 300 mm grinding diameter. A 500 mm diameter x 100 mm grinding wheel is accommodated.
