Centreless Grinding Machine

A range of machine is available with wheel sizes from 150 mm to 500 mm width and power up to 100 kW. Depending on the application, they come with either fixed or moving work rest. A choice of grinding wheel heads is available with either cantilever or ?twin grip' bearing supports. A variety of grinding cycle automation can be offered starting from the conventional hydraulic infeed + electropneumatic compensator to full CNC controlled infeed + compensation and wheel dressing. The automation can be extended to loading/unloading also to offer fully automatic machines for unattended operations. Constant interaction between customers helps the company in arriving at optimum solutions to meet specific requirements. Model 323 MDA CNC features a grinding wheel of 610 mm diameter x 250 mm width powered by a 22 kW motor. The cartridge type grinding spindle is supported on hydrodynamic bearings in a twin-grip arrangement. The regulating wheelhead features a double slide construction. The grinding wheel dressing is by a 2 axes CNC system, which allows very high flexibility in grinding components with complex shapes.
