Micro finishing of engine parts extends product life, prevents premature bearing failure thus reducing warranty cost. It is considered a “Mission Critical” operation in a crankshaft manufacturing line. Grind Master machines for crankshaft and camshaft micro finishing are used by global automotive OEMs. The NF600Cr series is a modern flexible machine with 36% space saving as compared to its predecessors. The machine is equipped with Nano Finish CNC control system and produces consistent highly engineered surfaces with 10% cycle time saving. Grind Master has built and supplied over 150 crankshaft/camshaft micro finishing machines globally, including over 40 machines in China, under a technical collaboration with IMPCO, USA.
