Widia (India) offers a universal SQ shoulder mill M690 - for economic smooth production. These has the following features: sturdy body with square inserts having 4 cutting edges, large chip gullets, insert with positive geometry and robust cutting edge, 2 sizes of inserts (15 and 12 mm) for different depths of cut and coarse and fine pitch versions for SD12 inserts. Inserts: SDMT 1506PDR-MH and ML, SDMT 1204 PDR-MH and ML. Advantages: high process reliability for use on machining centers and milling machines, effective and smooth cutting, good chip removal, cost economy, tried and tested to ensure optimum machining configurations for all materials.
