Wimett Hardmetals supplies solid carbide drill for tapped holes especially suitable for producing tapping size holes. This can be used for drilling holes in high tensile steel, cast steel, grey cast iron, chilled cast iron also different types of steels and other non ferrous materials. These drills can machine highly abrasive materials and plastics, thermoplastics with cost effectiveness. The drills are available in WP, WK, WM grades which are appropriate for machining different materials, in standard helix angle and standard form. These drills are available in diameter range from 2 mm to 50 mm. The company also manufactures solid carbide through coolant drill for tapped holes provided with spiral coolant holes reaching coolant up to the end and hence imparting tool longer life. Also, due to high pressure of coolant chips are evacuated easily and possible breakage of drill while in operation due to clogging of chips is eliminated.
