Trident Tools offers Trident M-42 bimetal bandsaw blades with a HSS cutting edge consisting of 8% cobalt and highly flexible backing material made from a highly alloyed spring steel. After heat treatment, the wear resisting tooth tips achieve a hardness of 67-68 HRc. This bimetal bandsaw blade having M - 42 ground teeth is for the use on medium or large heavy-duty bandsaw machines suitable for cutting all steels up to the hardness of 45 HRc. These can be supplied in both the normal or hook tooth style depending upon the application. Trident bimetal bandsaw blades are also available in M 51 grade, carbide tipped and SPL tooth forms as per cutting needs. Trident low alloy bandsaw blades are carbon steel bandsaw blades manufactured from the finest quality strips rolled from imported billets. These boast of excellent wear resistance and sharper points with uniform setting making it a quality blade. Teeth of these blades are flame hardened to impart hardness as per international standards. The process consists of hardening the tips of the teeth only, which give out the best in a metal cutting bandsaw. By doing this, it not only adds strength to the teeth, but also gives it the ability to resist fatigue.
