Indexable Reaming Cutters From 0.486" Diameter

Tru-Lok double-blade indexable reaming cutters are now available in diameters from 0.486" to 0.906". The Tru-Lok floating reaming system, which now covers diameters up to 6.562", previously only offered brazed carbide or HSS cutters below 0.875". Three new bars and nine adjustable cutter sizes cover the new program. Cutters are available with either round or triangular carbide inserts. The "float" of the cutters can be pre-set off the machine using an adjustable centre pin that fits into a precision-ground notch on the back side of the cutter. By controlling the amount of float and speed/feed rates, very close hole tolerance and good surface finish can be achieved even on machines where the spindle is not perfectly aligned.
