Ground Band Saw Blade For Sharper Cutting

DoAll offer their new band saw blade called the Penetrator. Their production process differs from the conventional one in that they use a custom made grinding machine. The manufacturers claim that the new blade can improve cutting finish, provide longer tool life and fatigue life as well as a better accuracy. Grinding the teeth with a freshly dressed grinding wheel instead of milling them provides a smoother finish on the tooth and gullet and a more consistent tooth height. The new production grinding machinery uses an abrasive wheel that is resharpened on each pass with an accurate diamond dressing wheel. The blades are bi-metal with an alloy steel backing and Cobalt M-42 HSS teeth which have 67 to 69 Rc hardness and positive rake angles for high cutting rates. Available pitches are 1-3, 2-3 and 3-4.
