GEAR SHAPER CUTTERS

All shaper cutters are profile ground by generation method to Class "A" accuracy. Material used is imported M-35 (6/5/2 with 5% cobalt), hardened and tempered up to 63/64HRC. Vinod Industries manufactures gear shaper cutters in all sizes. These include: helical gear shaper cutters and spur gear shaper cutters. The design is computer aided. For helical cutters uphill side relief and downhill side relief is designed as required and profile checked accordingly. Special features such as semi topping and protuberance can be provided. Range includes 1.0 module upwards of all helix and pressure angle, hub type or disc type. Cutters of module below 1.0 are under development. Shank type shaper cutters are also made from 32DP or 0.75 modules upwards and 10.0 mm PCD upwards. There is no restriction on the number of teeth. Even 5 numbers of teeth can be successfully made.
