Universal Tools makes on their 6-axis CNC grinding machine very high helix solid carbide, end mills.Made from micro fine carbide helix angles are in the range of 45o, 60o and 70o, these end mills increase length of cutting edge and reduce cutting load variations and give very good surface finish. They are designed for machining aluminum, stainless steel, cast steels and similar cast iron forging and other materials where high cutting forces are generated. They work on higher feeds at good loads, increase the cutting edge strength and work on higher speed and feed. They are available in the meter immediately up to O 50 in solid carbide with 5oHto 15o positive rectangle. They are also available in coolant fed design offering coolant reach on cutting edges, further increasing speed and giving better surface finish.
