End Mills Available In Centre Cutting/Stub End Configurations

A new series of high tech stub end mills has been introduced. Designated as the ASM series, the Micro 100 solid carbide end mills are bifluted with a 45 degree helix which makes them ideal for high-speed milling of aluminium, soft and non-ferrous materials. These Micro 100 super carbide end mills are said to provide exceptional surface finishes with conventional machining methods as well as with today"s high speed machining technology. An additional feature of the ASM series 45-degree helix design is the reduction of chatter, especially of such applications as machining workpiece corners. Cutting diameter ranges from 1/16" diameter to 1/2" in standard increments. Shank diameter is -0.0001" to -0.0005". Cutter diameter tolerances are for 1/16" to 1/4" diameter +0.000" to -0.002" and 9/32" to 1/2", +0.000" to -0.0003" TIR maximum is 0.0005".
