The Drilling Unit, DU-02 is equipped with step feed mechanism. The total stroke of the unit is 55 mm and the drilling stroke is 1-28 mm, the rest being the rapid approach stroke. The accuracy of in-feed positioning and position repeatability is as high as ?0.1 mm. The drill unit of DU series is a combination of reciprocating motion of cylinder shaft driven by pneumatic operation and an air motor and spindle designed for loading onto the drill unit.
