Komet Precision offers a Drill Slot Milling Cutter, PCD. This tool carries out various main and secondary operations in complex machining tasks such as boring, counter boring and circular milling. This is available at cutting length of 1 x D and 2 x D in the diameter range 6, 8, 10, 12, 16 and 20 mm. Bores can be "mirrored" and, by introducing the milling tool laterally, slots and longitudinal holes produced or even pockets milled. This tool also is optimised for work in tough aluminium alloys and for use with minimal lubrication; in addition they have very long tool life.
