Arm Sangyo Co offers Cordless bolt cutter with hydraulic function. The maximum cutting capacity is 16 mm (5/8") re-bar, and can cut high tensile steel bars. The material of cutting blade is high quality powder-high-speed steel. Hardness of blade is HRC63~65. The tool has a blade-opening lever, and the blade opens only after turning the lever, to prevent intentional opening which may cause harm. For general use, the lever should be placed in "Locked" position. There is also a trigger switch with auto return. Pressing the trigger switch starts the upper blade moving downwards cutting through the bar. Releasing the trigger switch returns the blade automatically. The blades can be replaced easily. The shoulder strap prevents the tool from dropping. This strap is included in the set of BCC-16. The cutter operates on a F14.4 V 2000 mAh battery weighing. The charging time is 25 minutes. With fully charged battery, the tool cuts 50 pcs of dia 16mm (5/8") rebar or 70 pcs of dia 13 mm (1/2") rebar. The tool kit with battery weighs 12 kg. Size: 590 x 550 x 155mm. The kit contains: main body and battery charger (1 piece each); battery (2 pieces); shoulder strap (1 piece); and spare blade (1 set).
