Water Jet Cutting Machines

Dax Engineering offers Water Jet Cutting Machine. This machine used high pressure water to cut softer material like rubber and abrasive jets add abrasive to water to cut harder material like steel, glass and titanium. The high-pressure water is forced through a tiny orifice to concentrate high energy in a tiny area to cut. The machine sizes vary from 1m x 1m to 8 m x 3 m, the most popular models being 3 m x 2 m and 4 m x 2 m which comes with single or multiple cutting heads. Advantages: since this is a cold cutting process thermal stresses are eliminated; can cut almost all material; and high cutting accuracy is obtained with cutting thickness up to 300 mm. Applications: water jet cutting machine is used to cut floor designs in marble/tiles, stainless steel cladding/handrails, fabrication of steel products, cutting of bullet proof glass, automobile components, special design for art, and letter cutting in steel/brass.
