Shearing Machinery

Sohan Singh & Sons offers OverCrank Shearing Machinery. OverCrank Shearing Machinery suited for cutting to size general purpose unalloyed steel sheets up to 4 mm thick. Each machine offers outstanding operational performance dimensional accuracy with high output and dependability.
Frame
All AVI Shears are fabricated from IS-226 Rolled Steel plates. Table & Cutting beam are deeply reinforced and fine machined after stress relieving. The interlocked design gives direct support to the frame
Bed
The bed, of closed box construction, forms the backbone of the shear and a solid backing for the lower knife.
Upper Beam
Sufficiently re-enforced ram, made of solid steel plate carries the upper knife. It moves in steel guides on bronze liners for smooth running and maintains the accurate alignment of the upper beam.
Hold Down Mechanism
Heavy uniform pressure is applied throughout the length of the job, through powerful spring loaded hold-down preventing its slippage regardless of variation in thickness. The hold down pressure can be adjusted for holding soft material.
Shear Knives
The knives are manufactured strictly as per the standard material of HCHCr/OHNS. The blades are standardized and are easily replaceable.
Accurate Gauging
The rigid and accurate construction of back gauge allows consistency in the width of sheets being cut.
Lubrication
Single shot lubrication system (if provided) provides oil to all the essential points.
Drive
Drive is through V-Belts on high inertia flywheel with ISI Marked Electric Motors of reputed make and start
