Motherson"s RF cutter is the ideal choice for aluminium milling. With cutting speed up to 5000m/min, this can be used to perform a wide range of operations from roughing to finishing. Customised and standard PCD inserts are available for both roughing and finishing operations. Made of special aluminium, the cutter is 40% lighter than steel cutters, is strong and light. The cutter body is hard and anodised and ensures longer spindle life. Anti-centrifugal force design prevents inserts from dislodging from cutter (speeds must be within maximum recommended conditions). To prevent warping, wedges are not used in the cutter construction. Units fitted are within 10? even before setting. External setting gauge is used for easy tool presetting.
