Reinforcing Steel Cutting Machine

Consolidated Machines offers a Reinforcing Steel Cutting Machine, Model C-Series. This is a compact and light weight cutting machine, horizontal acting, wherein the operating height is maintained low to facilitate easy handling of heavy rebars. This simple user-friendly machine is ideal for typical construction sites. The cutting tool is multiple edged, just rotate the blade for a fresh cutting edge. From maintenance view point, the electro-hydraulics is very basic and simple, where nominal skills can manage repairs. The system parts are standard and easily available in nearby hydraulic stores. These machines are produced in large batches, under tight quality checks and thoroughly tested before shipment. The machine if properly installed and used with some primary care is good for many years of service life. This model is available in three variants, viz., C32, C40 and C50. Specifications: Model C32 – maximum bar size metric – 32; electric motor –3.1 kW, (4 HP); machine size (L x B x H) – 800 x 700 x 650 mm; machine weight – 375 kg; and production capacity – 3 to 4 tonnes per hour; Model C40 – maximum bar size metric – 40; electric motor – 3.7 kW, (5 HP); machine size (L x B x H) – 900 x 850 x 700 mm; machine weight – 650 kg; and production capacity – 6 to 7 tonnes per hour; Model C50 – maximum bar size metric – 50; electric motor – 7.8 kW, (10 HP); machine size (L x B x H) – 1050 x 1050 x 850 mm; machine weight – 850 kg; and production capacity – 8 to 12 tonnes per hour. The machine power in terms of bar size is with respect to steel grade 415 metric (ASTM 60), for higher steel grade, the machine power is de-rated proportionately. Production capacity is evaluated considering common requirements and machine speed. Reinforcing steel bars are commonly known as Torr steel, deformed steel, TMT bars, rebars, construction steel, etc.
