Manual Cnc Ram Edms

Hansvedt Industries" EDM automation for mouldmaking by demonstrating automatic tool changing and programmable orbiting features on its computer controlled ram machines. Three-axis CNC models include the MS-4 Foreman with a 16" x 24" work tank and a 7" x 12" table travel, and the FS-2 Supervisor with a 30" x 60" work tank and 20" x 40" table travel. Power supply sizes are 50 amps and 200 amps respectively. The manual ram EDM, the CS-2 Tradesman, will be equipped with a System 3R CNC orbiter, 40-amp power supply and programmable digital readout that controls cutting depth. Production parts automation will also be addressed on a machine showing how programmable indexing can enhance EDM jobs that require multi-sided cuts. The MS-2 Leadman Z-axis CNC machine interfaced with a Haas indexing head will demonstrate an economical solution for this type of work.
