IZOD NOTCH BROACHING MACHINE

Sahaj Industries offers Izod Notch Broaching Machines. It is a free standing unit built sturdily and requires a 3-phase electrical supply for operation. It cuts notch by means of specially designed multi-toothed broach. The broach is mounted in a carrier, which is drawn by a twin lead screw mechanism through the full stroke with the help of a 0.5 HP electric motor. It is provided with suitable fixture to clamp the specimen in a vice for holding the 10 x 10 mm specimen. Its tooling/ fixtures include the adjustors and the end stop necessary to ensure the notch depth and position accurately as per the standards. It meets the following standards: ASTM A370, BS I 31: Part 1: 1961 & Part 2 & 3: 1972, DIN 50115, and IS: 1598-1977. It is a simple machine precise and easy to operate by any operator. Its front control box will have 3 push buttons, viz., Cut, Up and Stop with red power On lamp. Necessary limit switches are provided which will enable the machine to stop once the sample is cut. The machine dimensions are 380 x 380 x 1100 mm, and weight around 100 kg.
