Hydraulic Power Shears

Machine tools & Equipment offers Hydraulic Power Shears. These are suitable for cutting of sheets and plates as per following constructional details. All steel fabricated frames are of rigid construction and of interlocked design. It is stress relieved and supports the ram and bed against undesired deflection under permissible loading condition. The table is made from steel plates of adequate thickness, machined to close tolerances for straightness and parallelism to the working surface. It is fitted with supports to withstand the cutting sheet weight and pressure. It is provided with grooves for front gauge. A well- proportioned ram is guided and supported throughout the length of the stroke in accurately machined guide ways. The movement of the ram is slightly inclined at the back with reference to the vertical to provide cutting rake angle. It helps in providing blade clearance, clean cuts and less wear and tear of the blades. Individual hydraulic pressure pads are provided for perfect gripping of the plates during the cutting action. These pads are located as close to the cutting edge as possible to ensure perfect cuts without any offsets. The pressure on the pads is synchronized with the cutting sequence of the machine to ensure perfect gripping of the plates during the entire cutting operation.
