File Cutting Machine

Vikrant Special Machines manufactures a heavy duty semi automatic file cutting machine. This is suitable for teeth cutting operation on flat, bastard and half round files, both first cut and 2nd cut from 6"-18"size. The operation of the machine is electro-pneumatic. The depth of cut and the pitch of teeth can be set as required. The machine is basically a heavy duty CI casting driven by a 7.5 HP electric motor through pulley, worm wheel and spur gearing. The cutting action is by means of a pneumatic cylinder with spring tension. This machine is operated on the principle of single man, two machine operation.
