Fibre Laser Sheet Metal Cutting System

Sahajanand Laser Technology has introduced a high power fibre laser sheet metal cutting system in addition to the existing Brahmastra series of high power CO2 laser cutting system. The company offers working area suitable to all sheet metal processing needs, starting from 1250 x 1250 mm to 6000 x 2000 mm and even more, integrated with fibre laser with power up to 2000 W and CO2 laser up to 6000 W. Auto height and position adjustments: auto height adjustments control the distance between cutting nozzle and work piece. Sheet position is ascertained and transmitted to controller; hence no repositioning of sheet is required. Fibre and CO2 laser: Brahmastra can be integrated with advance high power fibre laser or time honoured CO2 laser. Fibre laser offers many advantages for sheet metal processing, including: wavelength of 1?, hence excellent absorption by any metal compared to CO2 laser; superior speed; wall plug efficiency of more than 20%; higher thickness cutting at same laser power; simplified laser source construction; fibre delivery system; and very low maintenance and operating cost. Control and software: Siemens 810D/840D PC based controller with easy user interface fully closed loop system. Software displays position and feed information, use cycle directory, alarm messages, tool diameter compensation, program and subroutine directory, cutting parameters, etc. Nesting software is also incorporated to optimise the use of material and complete material management.
