Mistry Laxman Kadva Machines offers Double Column Horizontal Bandsaw Machine (Fully Automatic). The machine is hydraulically operated and PLC controlled, very rigid and torsion free in construction. The saw head unit is supported by two rigid hard-chrome plated and ground vertical columns, which are guided by pre-lubricated bushes. The blade is guided by bearings and carbide wear pads. The blade can be tightened and released hydraulically. The saw is driven by sufficient drive power to cut the material. The quick approach arm eliminates the need for the operator to manually adjust the blade height to accommodate different sizes of the arm make contact, when the saw starts cutting. Adjustment screws are provided to allow easy blade changing. Saw feed "up & down" motion is controlled by hydraulic cylinder and regulated by a pressure regulated feed valve. Job clamping is controlled by hydraulic valves. The jaws of the front and rear vices are in one straight line and perpendicular to the blade. The unique split front vice design permits the workpiece to be automatically indexed to a bar-end remnant of 50 mm only. The vice securely clamps the workpiece on both side of the cut thus minimizing drop-off burrs. This design is most suitable for nesting or bundle cutting and is ideal for cutting short length pieces. The automatic feeding of job is also done by indexing - the feed length can set by means of screw and digital counter assembly with length accuracy of ±0.2 mm. The handwheel is provided to set the cutting length up to 400 mm, which can be read on digital counter in increment of 0.1 mm.
