Laxmen Metal Sawing Co offers a fully automatic hydraulic double column horizontal Bandsaw Machine. This is very rigid, sturdy machine and torsion free in construction. The saw head unit is supported by two rigid hard-chrome plated and ground vertical columns, guided by “INA” make PTFE self lubricated bushes. Auto work height control: the quick approach of the arm eliminates the need for the operator to manually adjust the blade height to accommodate different sizes of the material. The blade will approach the material rapidly until the arm make contact, when the saw starts cutting. The factory set blade guides ensure accurate cutting and long blade life. It consists of spring loaded, self-adjusting carbide-faced inserts. Adjustment screws are provided to allow easy blade changing. Cutting feed: saw head “up & down” motion is controlled by hydraulic cylinder and regulated by a pressure compensated flow control valve. Job clamping: this is controlled by hydraulic cylinders valves. The jaws of the front and rear vices are in one straight line and perpendicular to the blade. The movement of jaws of both the vices is controlled by hydraulic cylinder and valves. Split front vice: this unique vice design permits the workpiece to be automatically indexed to a reduce remnant of 50 mm only. The vice securely clamps the workpiece on both side of the cut thus minimising drop-off burrs. This design is most suitable for nesting or bundle cutting and is ideal for cutting short length pieces. Auto length indexing and length counter: the automatic feeding of job is also done by indexing. The feed length can set by means of screw and digital counter assembly with length accuracy of ±0.2 mm. The handwheel is provided to set the cutting length up to 400 mm, which can be read on digital counter in increment of 0.1 mm. The multiple stroke makes it possible to multiply the number of index cycles when pieces longer than 400 mm are required (available in DCA automatic modes). Nesting fixture/bundle clamping: a nesting fixture set consists of hydraulically operated vertical clamps which are mounted on the rear and the front vices. This makes it possible to cut multiple pieces at a time. Power driven blade cleaning brush: the power driven brush keeps the blade teeth free from chips for smoother cuttings and increase the performance.
