Mitsubishi Electric/Japan make CNC wire cut EDMs are known Lor their high speed, rigidity, high accuracy and reliability. The FX Series machines are made with advanced high technology to achieve high productivity and to meet most ding requirements. They are available in flushing (non-submerged type) and submerged type. An automatic wire threading unit with water jet system is provided as an option. Tne CNC control system is 32-bit CPU which allows multi-task performance. Mitsubishi Electric CNC wire cut EDM has many outstanding features. Anti electrolysis power supply is provided as standard. This prevents corrosion. PM2 power control dramatically increases machining speed and fully automatic cutting based on required surface finish is possible. Using economical operation mode, the consumption of wire is significantly reduced. There is no drop in machining speed and accuracy. In comparison with standard machines, wire consumption can be reduced up to 40%. Estimation of machining time, wire consumption, etc, can be made on the machine. Mitsubishi technology is based on ordinary brass wires. Automatic wire feed mechanism is provided optionally. Self-diagnostic function and graphic display of consumable status on screen is provided as standard. The machine construction is very rigid, and it is equipped with colurrm movement system for easy operation. Many other functions like wire processing device, dimple prevention function, automatic second cut, and canned cycles are provided as standard.
