CNC Controlled Portal Cutting Machine

ESAB India offers Combirex CXL-P, a modular designed CNC controlled Portal Cutting Machine. The rugged machine can be equipped with high-speed plasma cutting or/and oxy-fuel cutting, making it a highly flexible production tool. This can be configured in three sizes to meet exact plate width requirements of 2000, 2500 or 3000 mm. The length of the machine can be extended from the basic 5000 mm in 1000 mm rail extensions. The machine can be configured with up to four cutting tools and the modular design ensures that the machine can be easily upgraded with extra cutting tools if requirement changes in the future. Beam and rail structure: the machine structure consists of a robust reinforced main beam designed by a computer optimisation that guarantees a perfect rigidity throughout the whole width of the machine. The longitudinal side carriages are mounted on precise longitudinal guiding rail. This rail is mounted separately and below the height of the cutting table, ensuring the accuracy of the machine is not affected by the constant loading and offloading of heavy plate on the table. The low level of the rail also minimises the risk of collision with the plate during loading. The machine is equipped with both transverse and longitudinal cable/hose chains. They ensure the smooth running of the machine, with no cable drag together with protection of the gas hoses from movement damage. The Combirex CXL-P is driven by two powerful longitudinal motors with precision rack and pinion on the main drive side. Plasma cutting: The machine can be fitted with alternative plasma systems that can deliver high quality, precise and high speed cutting on parts from 1-30 mm thick in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Safety: the machine has been designed to meet and exceed all the current safety regulations and rules.
