Gedee Weiler, a Coimbatore-based organisation manufactures CNC 250 chucker with 3-jaw power operated chuck. The standard size of the chuck is 135 mm.The product has 30 deg slant bed and THK LM guideway on both axes. The manual pulse generator is provided with Fanuc MOP.Continuous power rating of Version 1 (GDW spindle motor) is 2.2 kW and for Version 2 (Fanuc alpha C3 spindle motor) is 3.7 kW. The 30 min rating is 5.5 kW. The spindle nose is DIN 55027 size 4 with infinitely variable spindle rotation of 100 to 4,000 rpm. Bore taper used is MT 5 and bore through spindle is 38 mm. Rapid traverse on X and Z axes is 10 mts/min. The travel on X and Z axes is 200 mm. The LM guide way construction ensures maximum rigidity. Programmable data input, two simultaneously controllable axes, decimal point/pocket calculator type programming, mirror image, background editing, canned cycles and G-code system A, B, C are the standard features of control system fanuc 0TD. It has component dependent standard linear tooling and Pragati make 8 station bi-directional turret is optional.
