The Ultra range blade includes Ultra(r) Furia - Bimetal M42 - Bimetal band saw binding combines especial alloy steel backing allowing a high output with a high quality high speed steel (M42) cutting edge. This binding offers the best possible cutting performance at high output, recommended for industrial production on automatic and semi automatic machines; Ultra(r) Vulca - Bimetal Matrix II - utilising the Matrix II development, this bimetal band saw binding with high speed steel cobalt teeth and a flexible allow steel backing offers good fatigue resistance by combining tensile strength with cutting performance. Shock resistant, recommended for use on manually operated machines; and Ultra(r) Katana M42 - made from M42 steel with VX teething, this new blade offers on unrivalled compromise between hardness and resilience. The tooth design increases the rigidity of the blade and results in a straighter more accurate cut. The reduced cutting edge angle offers greater tip sharpness, enabling optimum penetration particularly in "sticky" materials. Requires less cutting effort. Extended operating life.
