Band Saw Blades

Wikus Niran Saws offers Band Saw Blades. These coated carbide tipped are a new benchmark in high production sawing of cold and hot working steels, case hardened steels and also quenched and tempered steels. A newly developed geometry combined with a hard material coating applied by a coating process matched on the blades. The features of the hard material coating applied with a constant coat thickness are high hardness and coating adhesion and reduce the wear progress on the cutting tooth. The low adhesive factor of the coating clearly reduces the cutting and feed forces, which increases the lifetime of the saw blades. The coating on the back edge helps reducing the friction between band saw blades and back edge guide. This avoids cracks on the back edge and improves the duration running features of the blades. Futura premium blades are also available in widths of 34, 41, 54, 67 and 80 mm and pitches 2/3, 1.4/2 and 0.85/1.15.
