Inox Wind Limited offers a Wind Turbine, Model WT 2000 DF with 2 MW rating. This is equipped with a double fed induction generator. The advanced power electronics (IGBT converter) ensure that the generator works with high efficiency over the entire speed range. A heater winding is installed to prevent damage to the generator that may be caused by dampness. In addition, there are sensors to monitor the temperature in the generator. The generator and the power electronics are cooled by a water-air heat exchanger. All critical key components are sourced from reputed global suppliers to ensure high efficiency and reliability of turbines. The company is a fully integrated player with state-of-the-art dedicated facilities to manufacture nacelles, hubs, rotor blades and towers. The Inox Group's association with wind energy dates back to 2006 when it decided to invest in wind turbines. The group's cumulative wind turbine installation has grown to 68 MW, which makes it one of the largest wind power generators in India. The Group has a vision to install in excess of 2000 MWs of wind energy in the coming years.
