Welding Electrode Plants & Equipments

Weld Tech Engineers, through continual research and development, has established itself as a leading manufacturer of Welding Electrode Plants and Equipment as well as welding electrodes in the country. The company has excellent manufacturing infrastructure and has set up welding electrode plants across the country all of which are working excellently and earning profit for their owners. This following description is the machinery and process of manufacturing welding rods: 1. Wire straightening and cutting machine – the wire coil loaded on a coil stand, passes through a high speed straightening spinner and is subsequently cut to standard lengths within tolerance (100-150/min); 2. Dry mixer – the chemicals and mineral powder in dry condition are mixed into a homogenous mixture (200 kg/batch); 3. Wet mixer – the dry mixed homogenous mixture and binder in measured quantity are mixed into a wet paste (100 kg/batch); 4. Wire feeder and extrusion plant and magnetic conveyor – the core wire is fed by a wire feeder one by one (600 per minute) with high speed into the casting head of extruder; the hydraulic pressure generated inside the extruder assures compact and uniform flux coating; concentricity of coating is easily adjustable; a small magnetic pullout conveyor carries it to the main conveyor; 5. Main conveyor – it is attached with two small units; the first unit brushes and cleans the tips of electrode while the second unit prints the brand name around the electrodes; 6. Drying oven – the electrodes are put in racks on trolleys and rolled in oven on rails for quick drying; and 7. Shrink packaging unit – the filled electrode boxes are covered with shrink pack envelopes and passed through this unit containing a conveyor on the other side ready to despatch packed electrodes are received.
