Steam Turbine Generators (STGs)

Steam Turbine Generators (STGs) are used for power generation in many industrial sectors for various applications such as: i) Co-generation in sugar, paper, textile, solvent-extraction, petro-chemical industries, etc; ii) Captive power generation in steel, cement, carbon-black industries, etc; and iii) Bio-mass based IPPs, MSW based IPPs, etc. CICB can provide complete solution to these industrial requirements. The company has a complete range of STGs such as, steam condensing TG, extraction-condensing TG, back pressure TG, extraction-back pressure TG and low pressure (saturated steam) and low temperature condensing TG. Capacities of these STGs range from 1.0 MW to 125 MW. Only STGs are imported from China where the company has tied up with two leading manufacturers of STGs. Sub-systems required for STG systems are manufactured in CICB’s manufacturing facility in Mangalore. The company specialises in offering turnkey solutions to customers. It has vast experience in designing and manufacturing of condensing systems, lube oil systems, base-plates, heat exchangers, etc. There is a unique turbine supplied by CICB which generates power even with low temperature and pressure steam – this product is ideally suited for the waste heat recovery systems in cement plants. Elaborate control systems with PLC, PC and SCADA are standard features of STGs systems supplied by CICB. Erection and commissioning support is offered by well qualified and trained engineers.
