It uses the abundant and free solar energy efficiently for evaporating the effluents at a rate 5 times faster than the natural evaporation without using any costlier conventional fuels. Benefits: high rate of evaporation, no operating cost, easy maintenance, provision to convert the evaporator to a solar distillation still and anti-corrosive. It uses a heat exchanger carrying a hot fluid to increase the rate of evaporation, which is 5 times more than the rate of natural evaporation. Investment on conventional fuels, their inventory carrying cost, maintenance of the combustion chamber and pollution control measures for the smoke generated by the conventional fuels are eliminated. It can also work during night times using the heat supplied by the hot storage tank.
