Ribbon Blender

Ribbon Blender is mainly used for easy to mix powder of different bulk densities, which are processed like dried granules, pre-sieved powders, etc with low shear force. Mostly used for solid mixing but can also mix semi wet material. The mixer consists of a cylindrical shell inside which rotates a ribbon agitator. The ribbon agitator consists of a set of inner and outer helical ribbons. The outer ribbons move the material from the ends to the center while the inner ribbons move the material from the center to ends. Internal attachments like lump breakers and spraying arrangement widen the applications of this blender. It occupies less headroom space for large volume mixing unlike double cone, `V' blenders, etc.
