In the industrial gas business, Cryostar’s wide range of expansion turbines (1 kW to 4 MW) is used for all types of gas, with a choice of brakes adapted to every process (including ASU, NLU, and N2 generators).

In the oil and gas industry, Cryostar is one of the suppliers of choice for turbo-expanders for hydrocarbon gas processing for many engineering companies and end users. Cryostar’s hydrocarbon expanders are known to be particularly robust, reliable and highly efficient, and are built to the latest API 614 and 617 standards. Cryostar offers a fully integrated package to handle continuous LNG boil-off during transportation. Unique to Cryostar, its technology can be applied to both combined cryogenic machinery for cargo handling LNG carriers and on shore terminals.
