Process Analyser

The Process Analyser, 4000 series has transmitter, whose output (0/4-20 mA) is scaleable across the user-selected range to maximise transmitter sensitivity and accuracy. The output signal is galvanically isolated for safe and reliable measurements. The facility to customise the menu-driven SETUP program allows flexibility in matching functions to specific requirements and operations. The user has a choice of a 2-wire or 3-wire temperature transmitter selection. A non-volatile memory retains all stored values including measurement parameters and calibration data. Measured values are continuously monitored and the set point relays are activated if set points exceed. In addition, an alarm relay with either pulse or continuous mode of operation is available. A time range of 0 to 1,999 seconds can be set as alarm delay. The alarm is also activated if there is fault in the temperature sensor. The customised LCD enables easy and quick reading of the values. Multiple icons, annunciators, and error messages are provided to guide and inform the user of the controller?s operational status. On-line automatic calibration, set point selection, temperature control, slope, and offset information and hysteresis band is easily accessed using the tactile keypad. Indicator lights on the front panel display current functional status of control relays, alarms and automatic/manual mode of operation. These sensors are also provided with password protection to prevent unauthorised operation of the controller.
