Lloyds Research Foundation Inc offers a high speed Multi Turbine Disperser Model, JJ 1105. This is used for fast batch wise ultra fine grinding down to colloidal fineness of less than one micron (< 1 um) of hard to soft materials dry or in suspension for mixing and grinding of materials that may otherwise require very large amount of time and efforts to grind, mix and perfect homogenising of emulsion, ink and pastes with soft to hard materials. Applications: pigment, mineralogy, geology, metallurgy, chemistry, ceramics industries, construction industries, electrical industries, glass industries, nuclear research, soil research, etc. Method of operation: the turbine disperser works exclusively through the use of multi planeterial centrifugal force. The turbine disc and canister disc rotate at proportionate speed in different direction and due to this combination of tremendous centrifugal forces generated in different planes create high speed outward material flow with powerful laminar shear within the material with high energy impact grinding and powerful mixing action in all parts of the sample within few seconds or minutes. Technical features: attainable final particle size of < 1 um (less than 1 micron); accurate and reproducible grinding results due to quartz precision time control and speed control; analytically pure and contamination free grinding; no loss grinding including suspensions because of inclined grinding canisters and centrifugal force retains the material absolutely within the canisters; simultaneous grinding in up to 4 x 125 ml or 2 x 250 ml and 2 x 125 ml grinding canisters; digital display of actual rotational speed of turbine disc; programmable grinding and cooling time and grinding sequences and grinding time can be set to the exact number of seconds for short time operation; ease of cleaning; state-of-the-art robust design; microprocessor variable speed control; electrical characteristics – 230 V x 50 Hz, single phase.
