Mini Wind Solar Hybrid Plant

Greenbox has launched a Mini Wind-Solar Hybrid rooftop power plant for apartments and industries. Be it an industrial enterprise or an apartment complex or business in a commercial complex – there is a need to save on electricity bills hence reducing the recurring costs of running the business. Electricity consumption in common areas or for non-manufacturing activity is an expense that can be reduced to a great extent. Instead of paying electric bills to the State electricity board or spending thousands of rupees to run a generator – how about garnering the power of the Wind and the Sun? It is possible to generate own electricity on the rooftop. The sun provides solar power during the day and the wind generator takes over during the night, when wind speeds are normally more. The Mini Wind Solar power plant gives the best of both solar and wind energy, producing considerable units of electricity in a limited space. Greenbox is a Pune based project integrator promoted by an expert trained through a project from Cardiff University, UK, in harnessing wind power to generate electricity and water pumping. The company has existing industrial roof-top installation producing a peak of 7-8 units per day using a combination of wind and solar. They have the capability to either install a solar or wind-solar plant on rooftops. The proposition is to inspect the site, suggest a combination based on feasibility, install and provide AMC post installation.
