The Bohle LM 40 laboratory scale blender includes a NIR spectrometer integrated into the lid of the blending bin and a specially adapted evaluation software L B Bohle has extensively investigated a variety of ways to integrate analytical data acquisition with its blending technology over the past several years. The company reached the conclusion that NIR technology is the most appropriate analytical technique and will provide highly reproducible, accurate results. The Bohle blending technology has been demonstrated to be fully scalable from five litres (LM 40, as presented) up through 12,000 litre blenders.
