The company is familiar with the specific requirements of all countries to treat a range of export and import goods, including both ECL and LCL: Empty and Loaded Container Fumigation. The service includes: fumigation of wood packaging material as per ISPM-15 - wood packing treated according to the ISPM 15 standard whatever the country of origin/destination; fumigation of warehouses and silos; fumigation of cargo on board a vessel; and fumigation of bulk commodities and grain. Hot gas application of methyl bromide: methyl bromide is forced through a heat exchanger and into the drip tubing. Preventing pest-infestations in containers helps remove avoidable costs. Most countries refuse the import of containers without a fumigation certificate. This is to avoid foreign and harmful insects entering the country and disturbing the local ecosystem. Containerised transport of maritime cargo is used worldwide. Container fumigation will be carried out for elimination of quarantine pests.
