Double Cone Blender-cum-Double Cone Vacuum Drier

Double Cone Blenders and Double Cone Vacuum Dryers are extensively used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food & other processing industries.

Double Cone Blenders (DCB’s) are used for blending of different sized granules of single product (Ex: - Bournvita granules & dust, Gelatine powder & granules, Fine chemicals etc). Generally double cone blenders are made in S.S. 304 but S>S> 316 is also used as per requirement.

Double Cone Rotary Vacuum Dryers (DCRVDs) are very similar to DCBs but they are used mostly for vacuum drying of heat sensitive materials. The main double cone body of the Blender is provided with external jacket for heating / drying of powders/granules under vacuum. Heating is generally done by hot water or steam due to heat sensitive nature of the material. DCRVDs are provided with mechanical seal, rotary seal, solid separator cyclone, inert gas purging & heavy-duty direct drive. They work under vacuum to dry the powder. DCRVD’s have been supplied in different capacities: Double Cone Blenders – fro 100 lts to 20,000 lts cap. in S.S. & Double Cone Vacuum Dryers – from 400 lts to 2800 lts cap. In S.S.
