Distillation Columns

Distillation columns offer high efficiency and are designed for effective distillation process. These columns are used across diversified industries due to their sturdy construction and durability.

Types of distillation columns:

• Batch columns
  - In this type of column the feed is provided batch wise and second batch is introduced only after the completion of first one
• Continuous columns
  - As the name suggest, there are continuous feed stream during the distillation process which result in higher outputs.

The number of distillation columns depends upon number of product streams that they possess. These include columns that have more than two product streams. These columns are also efficient in extractive distillation and isotropic distillation. Trays and packs are also provided to bring out an enhanced distillation.
