Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers

Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers offered by Sasmith are used for cooling of water, oil or other fluids using air as the cooling media. These replace conventional cooling towers, which use water as the cooling media. As these heat exchangers use atmospheric air, there is no consumption of water. These types of coolers are ideal for areas where water is costly and not available in large quality for industrial use. Induced draft fans are installed on top of the tube bundle. Fluid to be cooled is passed through the tubes. GL or AL fins are used for increasing the surface area of the tubes. Tube bundles are pressure tested for leakproof operation. Impellers of the fans are dynamically and statically balanced for vibration and noise-free operation.
