Solid mix Solid-Liquid Mixing Equipment provides an ideal solution for dissolution of solids (in large quantities) in the pharmaceutical industry, mainly for preparation or predissolution of syrups. This dissolution system operates in recirculation. The product is recirculated in a tank while solids are manually or automatically added through the hopper of the blender. Depending on the product viscosity and installation pressure losses, the equipment can be provided with auxiliary suction and discharge pumps (centrifugal or positive displacement). The process is usually performed at high temperature to optimize the solubility of solids. The equipment used in dissolution of sugar and an active ingredient in demineralised water.
