Its basic objective is to recover the filtrate and filtered cake, and also to get the cake in dry condition. Features: vertical pharmaceutical filter vessel in CS/ SS 304/ SS 316 with flange lock closure and standard seal in neoprene/ viton/ nitrile; equipped with eye bolts for opening purposes. Other features include: filter leaves are mounted on manifolds; auto cake removal optional; and jacketting is optional. It is very handy. Advantages: no spillage due to closed and compact operation; high rate of filtration increases productivity to a large extent; there are no recurring costs as the filter cloth is not required; has an economical operational cost; and is user friendly.
