Flash Point Apparatus, Abels

Choudhary Instrument Manufacturing Company offers Abels flash point apparatus as per IP 33 and 1448 (Part 1, P:20) 1982. This is for determination of close cup flash point of petroleum products and mixture above 19?C and below 70?C. The apparatus consists of brass/gun metal machined cup cover fitted with shutter mechanism, test flame arrangement, stirrer and thermometer socket. The assembly rests in stainless double jacketed copper/stainless water bath. A funnel, an overflow pipe and split thermometer socket are fitted on top of the heating bath. The outer jacket of bath is fitted with a stand. An electric heater is provided at the bottom with flexible cord.
