Baths, Liquid Calibration

Techne (Cambridge), U.K., design and manufacture equipment used for both laboratory and on-site temperature calibration. The company provides calibration engineers with a precise dynamic stable temperature source. All Techne units are designed and manufactured to BSEN 160 9001:1994 standards. The constant temperature baths offer a complete bath system for open or closed applications from -40°C to +250°C. 23 models in all provide a selection of baths likely to meet the needs of any requirement in the laboratory. 5 bath capacities from 8 ltr to 48 ltr, and four temperature controlled thermo-regulators combined with bridge mounting plates along with 3 other LCBs make up the 23 systems. Each bath can be used either as an open bath or a closed circulating system for external apparatus. Inlet and outlet pipes at the rear of the thermo-regulator can be used for external circulation or sealed for circulation within the bath itself. The liquids that can be used vary from hydrocarbon oils, water, silicone oils, polyethylene glycols, etc. Thermosoft, a Windows based software has been designed by the company to be used with Tempunit TU-20D/C models. Programs can be created, saved and recalled at any time as well as running in real time mode and cover time, temperature and ramp rates.
