Pasta Extruding Machine

Malik Engineers manufacture Pasta Extruder for extruding various pasta shapes viz. vermicelli, macaroni, spaghetti, noodles and other shapes. Usually such products are made from durum wheat or semolina and plain water- with or without eggs or other ingredients. The Pasta Extruder consists of a specially designed auger screw & barrel unit driven through heavy gear reducer and variable speed induction motor. Suitable paddle mixers with vacuum system for pre-mixing the dry ingredients with water and removing entrapped air are provided as standard equipment to manufacture quality product. The Pasta Extruder, in principle, is a low shear extruder, with mixing aides built on the auger screw to homogenously mix the materials and force the dough through die head provided with many openings (die inserts) of required shape on product. The pasta is immediately cut at the die face by suitable rotary cutters into small lengths and is then immediately transferred to pre dryer and main dryer placed in line, by suitable conveyors. The product is then packed and has high shelf life. Various die inserts are available for shapes like elbow macaroni, straight macaroni, pen (bevel) macaroni, spirals, roosters, planes, radiator wheels, noodles, etc. Extruder is available in capacities of 100, 200, 300, 500 Kg/Hour capacities.
